CAKE NERD!

karmaschildYeah, that's me. Anyhow, here are some pictures. I can't decide if it's the lighting in the kitchen or my digital camera that is to blame for the quality of the pictures. I promise these are much cuter in real life.
Wookiee cake. It occurred to me, after I baked the teddy bear base, that wookiees don't have ears on top of their heads. So, I had to cut them off. The bandoleer could have been better. Well. Practice makes perfect, right?
And, the ewok. I had intended to get a package of skewers to use for spears, but I got lazy and used a chopstick instead. My sister doesn't like the color and I am kind of agreeing with her. Next time, I'll skip the gray and just use different shades of brown.
And here they are together. The ewok is less than half the size of the wookiee. About the size of a really good cupcake. Mmmm. Cupcake. Damn, I'm hungry now.
